Sprint Dumps Needy Customers



On June 29, Sprint sent letters to more than 1,000 subscribers, saying their service had been terminated because of their excessive calls to customer service. I can't pay my bill on line, upgrade my service, let alone get them to tell me why I'm still under a contract for another 10 months. Talked with Julius in customer service and spent 53 minutes on the phone with him. The nation's four major phone carriers are slashing prices in a bid to attract new customers in a saturated market.

I was offered a plan on May 19, 2018 but was not told that it was for new customers only. Thanks to Sprint I have to wait to change my phones over until this is all taken care of. They DO NOT CARE I WAS WITH THEM FOR 14 years so look out before you get Sprint.

Don't sign Bad customer service up with this company is not worth it. You will pay a lot money for a company that has same service as metro pcs which just cost $40 monthly and SPRINT almost $100. Posting on the Sprint users' message board, one customer who received one of these letters said the calls she made to Sprint were for errors in the company's billing.

So I had to pay the $314 bill in order to not get a mark on my credit and pay the $200 cancellation fee - this all happened in a 32 day period and because it was 2 days over the 30day change policy they wouldn't except the offer to give me back my old phones and start over with out a cost to me what terrible customer service to a very good customer they dont care its all about the $$$$$$ with sprint and when my contact is up.

US Cellular actually has quite a reputation for stellar customer service, so it was surprising to hear complaints about them, but those of you who did complain noted poorly trained reps and confusing tactics, especially around their "belief" plans, which look great from the outside but quickly turn sour after you sign up. However, US Cellular's biggest issue is the one that comes with being smaller than the other carriers: coverage.

1) I called Sprint to cancel my account on January 14 2018 because when I was a customer of Sprint - I could not or received group texts when I was at home. Of course, by the time they did get it on the correct account, the agreement was for the wrong price and I yet again had to call customer service and get it corrected.
